About Haley Hodgins, MD

Dr. Hodgins is an Austin, Texas, native who is proud to provide obstetrics and gynecology care to women in the community she has always called home.

She earned her Bachelor of Science and Arts in Neuroscience from The University of Texas at Austin. During her undergraduate studies, Dr. Hodgins discovered her passion for medicine and chose to pursue a career in obstetrics and gynecology, drawn to the opportunity to play an active role in women's healthcare throughout every stage of life.

Dr. Hodgins earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas, where she received the Hambrock-McGanity Award for educational and research excellence. She also participated in the Physician Healer Track, a specialized program focused on developing equanimity, compassion and open-mindedness in the practice of medicine.

After medical school, Dr. Hodgins remained at UTMB to complete her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology. At this tertiary care center, she gained experience caring for women from communities throughout the Texas Gulf Coast, including patients from smaller communities near the Texas-Louisiana border. During her residency, she received the Golden Apple Award in recognition of her excellence in teaching.

Today, Dr. Hodgins is happy to be back in Austin, providing OB/GYN care to women in her hometown community. She values the opportunity to build relationships with her patients and support their health and well-being through compassionate, individualized care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Hodgins enjoys gardening, reading, cooking and film photography.
